Questions about Belong
How does Aadhaar verification work in Belong?
The employee enters their Aadhaar number and confirms with an OTP sent to their Aadhaar-linked mobile. Verification runs through an authorised verification partner, only with the employee’s consent. No biometric data is collected, and the Aadhaar number is shown masked.
How is GST verification used?
When an organisation registers, its GSTIN is verified so that employees and other organisations know they are dealing with a genuine business.
Can an employee be active at two organisations at once?
When an organisation adds someone who already has a Belong profile, Belong checks whether that person is currently active at another organisation. The profile is linked only after the employee approves the request.
Who can see an employee’s data?
Only authorised users of the employee’s own organisation, according to the roles and permissions it sets. Another organisation sees personal details only after the employee approves its link request.
Can we import our existing employees?
Yes. Download the Excel template, fill in your employee details and upload them in bulk. Belong then sends each employee an invitation to activate their account.
How much does Belong cost?
Belong is currently available free of charge. If paid plans are introduced, we will give organisations advance notice.
